For Freedom: “A level Playing Field”                 

• The Gospel is grace in action and invites all people to participate. [Galatians 2:1-10; Acts 11:29-30; Acts 15:1-2]
• When we lose sight of the main thing, we lose much more than perspective.
• Love levels the playing field to make sure everyone experiences the freedom Jesus offers. [Galatians 2:11-14; Matthew 7:1-6; Mark 2:1-11]
• Judgmental attitudes tear down people and build walls that protect religion but prevent relationships with Jesus.
• We are to address hypocrisy not to tear down the person but to remove the barriers to Jesus.

 

Next Step Questions:

1. Are there any things that you have added to the Gospel that you need to let go of?

2. Are there any judgmental attitudes that you need to release?

3. What barriers do we need to remove to help others come to experience Jesus?

1. Share: “This is what “This is what my life was like before Jesus.”
2. Share: “This is how I met Jesus.”
3. Share: “This is how my life has been impacted since.”

• When we lay it down and let it go, we trade in being liked for being loved.

Organic Disciples: Consistent Community:

• Organic outreach is the natural result of a life overflowing with Jesus

Disciples of Jesus naturally share Him with others as they B.L.E.S.S.: 

B: begin with prayer [Acts 4:31]

S: Serve in love [Luke 10:30-37] 

S: Share the story [John 4:28-30;39-42] 

 

Sharing God’s story is as simple as: 

GOGO: God’s love, our problem, God’s solution, our response  

THE ABC's: Admit, Believe, Confess
